McQuade Construction Group was founded in 2026 by Will Letke and Mike McQuade — two builders who'd spent fifteen years watching Louisville homeowners get the run-around from contractors who only did half the job.
The premise

Most Louisville homes share a particular problem set. The foundations were built before anyone in the city thought seriously about water management. The kitchens have been renovated once or twice — usually badly. And the basements sit, half-finished or unfinished, because nobody can imagine what they could become.
We started McQuade Construction Group because we got tired of telling customers that the kitchen guy couldn't help with the foundation, and the foundation guy didn't do basements, and nobody was going to coordinate the three. So we made a company that does all three under one roof, with one project manager per job, and one founder signing off on the final walkthrough.
The name on the truck is a family name. The crew showing up the day work starts is the same crew you met on the estimate. The final walkthrough is done by a founder — Will or Mike — not a project coordinator, not a sales rep. That's the whole pitch. It's everything we wanted from a contractor and never could find.
The voice

We share these with every team member, every vendor, every subcontractor. They're the difference between sounding like a contractor and sounding like the kind of contractor you'd want to hire.
Confident without bragging.
We let the work speak. We don't call ourselves the best, the leading, or the premier anything. We say what we do and who we do it for. The yard sign says McQuade Foundation and Waterproofing — not Louisville's #1.
Plain spoken without dumbing down.
Sump pump, not subsurface water management system. Cabinet, not cabinetry installation solution. We use the words homeowners actually use, and we trust readers to follow a technical sentence when one is needed.
Warm without being saccharine.
We treat customers like neighbors, not transactions. But we don't perform warmth. No we are SO excited to work with you — just honest engagement and a project manager who answers the phone when you call.
Specific over superlative.
Twenty-five-year warranty beats long-lasting. Average bath remodel in fourteen days beats quickly. Twelve helical piers, settled to bedrock beats foundation solutions. Specificity is trust.
The founders
Will Letke
& Mike McQuade.
Will spent twelve years as a foundation and waterproofing project manager. Mike spent fifteen years as a finish carpenter and remodeler. They've been friends since both their daughters started kindergarten together. McQuade Construction Group is the company they wished existed when their own customers had problems neither one of them could solve alone.
Will runs Foundation and Waterproofing. Mike runs Kitchen and Bath, and works closely with the basement division leads. Both walk every final job.
Where we work
Louisville Metro & Southern Indiana.
We work primarily within a forty-five-minute drive of downtown Louisville. That covers everything from St. Matthews to New Albany. For larger remodels and full-foundation projects, we'll come farther.
