Selected
recent work.
Eight kitchens, six baths, three full pantries, and two butler's halls — most of them in homes built before 1930. Selected projects from the last two years, with notes on what was there before and what stayed.
The Cherokee Victorian
A 1908 home brought back to working order. Original butler's pantry restored, quartersawn oak cabinetry, twelve feet of single-slab honed Calacatta, unlacquered brass. Eleven weeks.
The Highlands Primary
A primary bath taken from a 1990s renovation to something quieter and more correct for the 1924 Craftsman it sits inside. Zellige tile, walnut vanity, soapstone counters. Five weeks.
The Crescent Hill Bungalow
A 1920s bungalow kitchen where the original footprint was right but the cabinetry had been cycled three times in fifty years. We rebuilt to last. Inset shaker, honed soapstone, original floors refinished. Nine weeks.
The Old Louisville Powder
The smallest project we did in 2024 and one we're most proud of. A 24-square-foot powder room treated like the showpiece it is. Hand-painted English tile, wall-mount brass, marble basin. Three weeks.
The St. Matthews Family Kitchen
A working kitchen for a family of five — designed around how this family cooks, not around what looks best on Instagram. Painted inset cabinetry, butcher block prep zone, marble at the range, durable matte porcelain underfoot. Ten weeks.
The New Albany Hall Bath
A 1912 Federal returned to period correctness — checker marble floor, wall-mount sink, period-correct chrome fixtures, plaster walls patched and skim-coated. Four weeks.
By the numbers
Eight to twelve weeks
per kitchen. Four to six per bath.
Every project in this portfolio finished within the schedule we wrote on day one. Most finished a few days early. None ran over by more than a week — and on the two that did, we credited the overrun back.
